Quiet system offers solution to anti-idling regulations while reducing wear and tear on truck engines. Plug-and-play, 21 x 24.5 x 28 in. design facilitates installation via quick disconnects and pre-charged a/c lines. Equipped with Cummins alternator, unit produces 4,000 W @ 120 V, 60 Hz ac. It also produces up to 40 A @ 12 Vdc for charging truck batteries.

Jan 03, 2007 Designed for minimal noise and optimal fuel economy, power delivery, and idle stability, QSK38 employs in-cylinder combustion system that meets Tier 2 NOx levels. Modular Common Rail fuel system enables full-authority electronic control over fuel timing, quantity, pressure, and delivery rate shape. Supplied in 38 L, V12 configuration with single-piece FCD pistons, engine is rated from 900-1,500 hp and provides up to 4,570 lb-ft torque at 1,000 rpm.

Apr 01, 2003 Model ISX 385 ST, with 1,450/1,550 lb-ft of torque, is equipped with SmartTorque and offers proprietary torque-management rating that delivers additional 100 lb-ft of torque in top two gears of transmission automatically. Engine minimizes downshifts on open road, delivering optimum performance under any circumstance. Suited for applications that don't require engine brakes, product is certified to October EPA emissions regulations.

Apr 01, 2003 Offered on all ISX and ISM engines to help drivers improve fuel economy, Load-Based Speed Control (LBSC) lowers vehicle noise and manages engine speed based on operating conditions. LBSC promotes efficient operation by limiting usable engine speed during low and intermediate power requirements. When climbing grades, vehicle performance is improved by utilizing higher engine speeds (up to 2,000 rpm) and allowing downshifts at higher rpm.

Apr 19, 2002 Model B3.3 engine, in 65 hp 85 hp versions, is now certified by Mining Safety Health Administration (MSHA) for underground mining. Engine footprint fits easily into equipment, with access to all maintenance points from either left or right side. Parent bore block is rebuildable, and mechanical fuel injection delivers low fuel consumption as well as low emissions.

All have dual hydraulic pump mounts, crank-mounted PTO, variety of drivetrain mounting configurations, one-side serviceability, integrated cold-start aids, and low-noise signature. Models include three engine families with six different hp ratings and torque curves. Model numbers include A2000, A2300, A1400, A1700, and A900.

Feb 05, 2002 QuickCheck II, for Palm(TM) or HandEra(TM) handheld devices, reads and captures engine, transmission, and brake system information from electronic diesel engines. It covers diesel engine broadcasts such as SAE J1939 and J1587 data, and is capable of reading fault codes, trip information, and engine parameters. Information is displayed in real time, and is available for download to personal or work computer.
