Apr 17, 2012 Designed for Projected Capacitive Technology(TM) touch sensors and ZXY100 touch controllers, Open-Source Driver Software supports Linux® and MS Windows® CE. Controllers are designed for plug-and-play use with in-built Windows 7 basic Human Interface Device driver, which allows touchscreen calibration. Add-on pack will enable users of Windows® 7/8 to tune controller firmware directly so that touch sensitivity, filters, and overlay thickness can be changed to suit individual application.

Device consists of 32-bit microprocessor with ARM® core, preloaded with Projected Capacitive Technology firmware, and ASIC-based analog front end. With firmware's boot loader function, users can upload software updates as they become available. Chipset offers native Windows 7 support, including dual touch, to cover core gesture recognition functions.

May 19, 2011 Based on Projected Capacitive Technology, ZYBRID® Sensors employ deposited tracks of transparent Indium Tin Oxide as sensing medium. Units are available in 7, 8, and 8.4 in. display formats and can accurately detect touch through thick glass or gloved hands. Supplied as flexible, polyester units for assembly/lamination by customer or pre-laminated to glass at company's clean room facility, sensors are suited for medical tablets, home appliances, and automotive HMIs.

Units incorporate ASIC, which consolidates analog components into single 7 x 7 mm chip. Models include 32-channel version for 5-20 in. sensors, 64-channel version for 20-50 in. sensors, and 128-channel unit for 50+ in. sensors.

Nov 17, 2005 Using projected capacitive touchscreen technology, ZYSWITCH(TM) Keypads detect key presses from behind protective front panel up to 15 mm thick. They feature zero wear-out mechanism and resistance to scratches and physical or chemical attack. Keypads require no software driver, which eases keypad integration and facilitates direct upgrade or replacement of membrane-type units. They can be customized to any shape or size, and address applications up to 16 buttons.

Jun 21, 2005 ZYPOS® projected capacitive technology touch sensors are based on principle of embedding micro-fine sensing wires within multi-layer laminated screen behind protective front surface, ensuring that sensing medium is protected from accidental and malicious damage. With unlimited touch life, PCT is drift-free and can be operated with gloved or ungloved hand with response time of less than 20 ms. It requires no recalibration and is unaffected by surface contaminants.

Nov 08, 2004 Optical Control Filter controls direction of emitted light from LCD displays, reducing reflections, and facilitating readability in direct sunlight. Polycarbonate film uses lamination bonding and vacuum deposition techniques to integrate privacy louver matrices with anti-reflection and anti-glare coating. Filter can be bonded directly to LCD displays measuring up to 18 in., making it suited for in-car, naval, and aerospace display applications.
