HEVC upgrade enables use even for initial field tests, and GMIT also provides users with professional equipment for commercial implementation. Content errors as well as general decoding errors, are detected automatically and displayed as well as reported.

This is made possible via R&S VT-B360 HDMI TX 300 MHz HDMI module, which offers 4 parallel HDMI channels with ultra-HD resolution. Tests encompass HDMI protocols such as CEC, E-EDID, and HEAC as well as CTS compliance tests on HDMI sinks. Tests can be performed on TVs, monitors, projectors, and A/V receivers with conventional screen resolutions as well.

May 06, 2013 With frequency range of 950–3,000 MHz, R&S SLG generates up to 32 digital satellite TV transponders simultaneously and in real-time. Sixteen of 32 transponders transmit externally fed transport streams, while others transmit internally generated PRBS data. Transport streams are fed into instrument via IP or ASI interface, and each channel can contain ARB waveform or CW carrier instead of TV signal. R&S SLG can be operated from PC via web GUI, and can also be remote controlled via SCPI or SNMP.
