Firebird utilizes technique that provides user-programmable state of polarization anywhere on Poincare Sphere. Facilities for user programming are included that enable users to select any state in order to program and switch between pre-selected states. This all-fiber polarization controller ensures max power throughput at selected state and also incorporates built-in method to move plane of output polarization.
