Housed in BGA48 packaging measuring 4 x 4 x 1 mm, EFM32 Gecko Microcontrollers are based on ARM® Cortex(TM)-M3 processor and require 150 µA/MHz when active. Devices run at clock speeds up to 32 MHz and provide up to 32 KB of flash memory and 4 KB of RAM. LESENSE function block enables monitoring of up to 16 capacitive, inductive, or resistive sensors independently of processor core. Applications include wireless sensor nodes, home automation systems, and portable health/fitness products.
