Feb 06, 2013
Suited for building diagnostics and automation equipment used in energy efficiency management, Micro80P™ 80 x 80 small pixel pitch high-sensitivity thermal sensor array is based on amorphous silicon (a-Si) microbolometer technology. IR thermal sensor array aims at improving next-generation motion detection systems and increasing measurement accuracy of building energy diagnostic tools. In addition to detecting motion, array can also count, localize, and classify objects or human activity.

Suited for thermal camera manufacturers, UL 03 16 2 comes integrated into resistive amorphous silicon package, embeds ADC on chip, and works without requiring thermoelectric cooler. Features incldue 384 x 288 pixel array with 25 µm pitch and typical array operability of greater than 99.9%. While spectral response range is 8-14 µm, thermal time constant is less than 7 ms, and typical signal response is 3 mV/K. Solution also integrates CMOS multiplexer IC with ripple imaging operation.

Adapted for thermal imagery, UL 04 17 1 uncooled microbolometer detector is designed for use with thermography, FLIRs, and microscopes in medical and military applications. HD array utilizes NTSC television-type format. With technology based on resistive amorphous silicon bolometer, product does not require optical modulator or mechanical sweep mechanism. Its 640 x 480 pixel focal plane array, with 25 micron pitch, has spectral response in bandwidths from 8-14 microns.
