NUREMBERG, Germany — Lunch symposium: Controversies in intraoperative spinal imaging  At this year's EuroSpine Congress in Lyon, innovation leader Ziehm Imaging invites international experts to share their clinical experience in spinal neurosurgery orthopedic and traumatology. During a lunch symposium on October 1st, Christoph Josten (University Hospital Leipzig), Christian Raftopoulos (Brussels Saint-Luc University Hospital) and Peter Vajkoczy (Charité Berlin) will talk about their imaging devices and clinical equipment ranging from mobile 3D C-arms to fix installed C-arms and intraoperative CT-scanners. An open discussion about interdisciplinary use, space requirements, Hybrid-OR, installation and running costs, image quality, ease-of-use, utilization of navigation and upcoming future developments will give insights on the latest innovations in intraoperative spinal imaging.

At its booth in the industry exhibition, Ziehm Imaging will present Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition. Featuring innovative flat-panel technology, Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition delivers high-resolution, distortion-free X-ray images with over 16,000 shades of gray. In addition the C-arm features isocentric movement which supports easy and fast positioning as well as reliable visualization of the required anatomy. The flat-panel results in a large C-arm opening that enables easy positioning even with bariatric patients.
