Zentechfs Matt Turpin Appointed to IPCfs Government Relations Steering Committee
Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. is pleased to announce that CEO and President, Mr. Matt Turpin, was appointed to the IPC Government Relations Steering Committee at the IPC Annual Meeting (APEX) last week in San Diego, CA.
The IPC Government Relations (GR) Steering Committee works to further IPC members' interests by advocating for policies that foster economic growth and job creation and to enhance the international competitiveness of the electronic interconnection industry. The Committee addresses the range of issues that affect IPC member companies, such as: technology policy supporting electronic interconnection research and development, environmental initiatives that support science-Âbased environmental protection, smart regulatory reform and other issues as determined by Committee members.
IPC participates in the political and administrative processes in response to, and in advance of, public policy proposals by presenting views to policymakers. IPC influences policy through the consistent development of high quality, fact-Âbased positions on issues affecting the electronics industry.
In addition to releasing its Global Policy Framework at APEX, IPC also announced the dates of its major U.S. public policy event of the year, “IMPACT 2015: IPC ON CAPITOL HILL.” This two-Âday event will take place on April 29 and 30, 2015 in Washington, D.C., giving C-Âlevel executives a unique opportunity to interact with senior policymakers and advise them on issues that affect the electronics industry.
