Zentech Manufacturing First to Earn Certification as Qualified Manufacturer to IPC J-Std-001 Space Addendum



Recognized as an IPC-Trusted Source and QML Listed



BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, — IPC’s Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) to Zentech Manufacturing Inc., an electronics and engineering service firm in Baltimore, Md. The facility underwent an intensive audit based on one of IPC’s foremost standards: IPC J-STD-001ES, Space Applications Electronic Hardware Addendum to IPC J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies.



Zentech met or exceeded the requirements for those published in IPC-J-STD-001ES to ensure the reliability of soldered electrical and electronic assemblies that must survive the vibration and thermal cyclic environments getting to and operating in space and is now listed as an IPC-trusted source capable of manufacturing in accordance with industry best practices for space applications. Zentech and other trusted sources of supply can be found on IPC’s QML/QPL (Qualified Product Listing) database at www.ipcvalidation.org.
