October 24, 2011 - Nearly 50 Congressional staff members, representatives, and other stakeholders gathered on Capitol Hill to attend Advancing Safety and Sustainability Standards Worldwide exhibition for U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day 2011. Event featured exhibits highlighting role of standards, codes, and conformity assessment in assuring health and safety of people and the environment. Standardization provides adaptive framework for developing most effective solutions to critical global challenges.
