Wintriss Controls Group LLC Agrees To Acquire Honeywell Machine Controls Business
ACTON, MASS, Wintriss Controls Group LLC has agreed to acquire Honeywell Wintriss Controls led by the current management team of Mark Hatch, Dick LaBelle, Andy Baker, Ashok Bhide and Dawn Whelpley. The transaction is expected to close in October 2009. Wintriss Controls will continue to develop and manufacture innovative automation and safety products for metalforming and data collection products for discrete manufacturing industries. Founded in 1959 by George Wintriss, Wintriss Controls has been providing electronic solutions to metal stampers for the last 50 years. The current product portfolio includes SmartPAC press automation controls, WPC safety clutch/brake controls, Shadow safety light curtains and LETS data collection software.
