Wilcoxon Research Hires North American Sales Manager

Germantown, MD -- Wilcoxon Research, a leading supplier of quality vibration sensors and sensor networks, announces the hiring of Ronaldo Sullivan to the position of North American Sales Manager.

Sullivan brings almost 30 years of experience to the position of North American Sales Manager, earned at industry-renowned firms such as Commtest, Inc. and VibrAlign, Inc. As a Vibration Category I certified analyst, Sullivan will use his knowledge of vibration monitoring and analysis and his extensive applications experience to benefit customers in the U.S. and Canada, primarily.

In his new role, Sullivan will be responsible for all aspects of the Wilcoxon sales effort in North America. He will work closely with the sales channels, key accounts and customers to improve Wilcoxon's ability to meet customer needs. Sullivan will work at Wilcoxon's main facility in Germantown, MD, where he will be involved in all aspects of the business and able to personally handle accounts.

Sullivan comes to Wilcoxon Research from Commtest, Inc., a leading manufacturer of vibration analysis equipment and software, where he served as Regional Sales Manager for Latin America. Through extensive travel, customer visits and his language skills (Sullivan was born in Panama), he was able to raise the visibility of Commtest, Inc. in Latin America and deliver a marked increase in regional sales under his direction. Previously, Sullivan spent 16 years at VibrAlign, Inc., a company that specializes in laser alignment and vibration solutions, where he started as a vibration analyst and rose to President. He contributed significantly to the planning, marketing, distribution management and training that have made VibrAlign, Inc. a market force in laser alignment. Sullivan graduated from premier engineering school Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1977.
