Whitford Unveils New Colors for Eterna®, QuanTanium® and Fusion®
Elverson, PA. Whitford, makers of the world's largest, most complete line of nonstick coatings, has launched a wide range of new colors for three popular lines of cookware coatings: Eterna, QuanTanium and Fusion.
Eterna, the longest-lasting nonstick that Whitford has ever tested, has added many
colors, including Deep Purple, Spruce, Golden Bronze, Raspberry Red, Blue Moon,
Malbec Red, Copper Penny, Chocolate Bronze, Think Pink and Copper Bronze. All have
the same excellent release properties and increased stain resistance of the original
Eterna. The extra smooth surface provides a glossy finish that is appealing at point-of-purchase.
QuanTanium is reinforced with titanium, the lightest, toughest metal known to man. Its
outstanding resistance to scratching, abrasion and wear is attributable to the titanium
reinforcement. In addition to QuanTanium's high gloss black, usually the color of nonsticks,
one can choose from eight new bright colors. QuanTanium is dishwasher safe, and
is cost-efficient, making it an attractive choice for consumers.
Fusion, Whitford’s sol-gel "ceramic" nonstick, is now available in an array of interior
colors. Fusion is waterborne, with a simplified process that makes application easier than
other sol-gels. It is the only sol-gel nonstick with a legal letter verifying that it is compliant
with the EU and US FDA for food contact. In addition, Whitford has launched FusionX, a
line of exterior sol-gel coatings, which are available in white, light and dark colors, with
hardness approaching that of porcelain enamel.
