Whitford Names E.L. Stone Company a "Recommended Coater"
April 2012, Barberton, OH. Whitford, makers of the world's largest, most complete
line of fluoropolymer coatings, recently launched a "recommended coater" program
which recognizes applicators who meet certain criteria set by Whitford. Among these
criteria are having a strict quality-control program in place, full knowledge of Whitford coatings, including how to apply them, and attendance at one of Whitford's bi-annual training sessions. One of these new members is E.L. Stone Company.
E.L. Stone was established in 1955 by Elmo Stone and offers a broad line of coating
and painting services to meet all coating needs. The company continues to be a familyowned and operated company, now introducing the third generation of management.
E.L. Stone serves the automotive, chemical equipment, molds, and packaging equipment
industries, and has been a customer of Whitford since the early 1970s.
