Whitford Appoints Elite Surface Technologies as Agent for Australia


15 July 2009, Elverson, PA. Whitford Worldwide and Elite Surface Technologies have joined
forces, with Elite signing on as Whtiford's agent to cover all of Australia.

Elite was founded in 1999 by three Australian industrial chemists, all interested in providing
cutting-edge technology in the metal-finishing industry. Elite offers many specialized chemistry
options including; pretreatment cleaner systems, zinc and iron phosphate systems, zinc and zinc
alloy electroplating processes, trivalent chromate conversion coatings, complete proprietary products
for copper, nickel and chromium electroplating applications, electroless nickel coatings, complete
galvanising industries pretreatment chemicals and electropolishing technology to mention
but a few.

Elite will manage the sale and distribution of Whitford's industrial products in Australia from its
four locations across the country. Its headquarters are located in Melbourne.

o Whitford also markets epoxy putty sticks, adhesives and sealants through its subsidiary
Polymeric Systems, Inc. Most are sold to private-label resellers who market them as retail
brands.
