WEG Supplies Multiple Motors to a Petchem Plant in Mexico
Following the corporate strategy of serving the petrochemical market with premium stand-alone products and electric solutions, WEG has delivered over 150 electric motors to a grassroots ethylene plant in Mexico.
In cooperation with the EPC contractors and global mechanical rotating equipment vendors, WEG motors will drive pumps, compressors and fans, which will allow the production of polyethylene, a thermoplastic polymer used to produce a vast range of products used on our daily life including grocery bags, shampoo bottles, toys, and even bulletproof vests.
Manufacturing state-of-the-art LV MV electric motors is what WEG has been doing since its foundation.
