GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK---To strengthen its product development department, W.A.C. Lighting General Manager Shelley Wang has appointed
Eric Silverman to R & D Project Director. W.A.C. Lighting is a
leading designer and manufacturer of track, recessed, undercabinet, decorative and monorail lighting.
In his new position, Mr. Silverman is responsible for helping to develop custom lighting products, updating products to comply with changing standards, and identify and develop new lighting technologies in the residential and commercial markets.
He has worked for W.A.C. Lighting for nine years, and most recently was in-charge of the Technical Department. His broad background encompasses electronics, metal stamping and high-tech plastics, as well and in-depth knowledge of design and manufacturing.
Mr. Silverman holds a B.A. from SUNY at Plattsburgh and an MFA from Pratt Institute.
