V810 XXL AXI Awarded Best in Test Award for Machine Vision/Inspection

The company was selected for the Machine Vision / Inspection category. The awards winners were selected online by the EDN community.
ViTrox's V810 XXL provides the fastest inspection speed and widest test coverage with four key technologies innovated for speed/throughput: loading / unloading optimization, dynamic scan path technology, progressive alignment technology and machine operation optimization. It can inspect boards up to 26" x 38" and provides the best support on the market for boards up to 500mils thick weighing up to 15kgs. V810 XXL's state-of-art technology is based on Digital Tomosynthesis methodology. The advanced Digital Reconstruction Technology reconstructs X-ray images from multiple angled cameras and effectively separates the top- and bottom-side of the board images clearly. Proprietary Hybrid Auto Focus technology enables the system to intelligently focus on desired z-height without any mechanical movement from X-ray or stage, significantly reducing any measurement uncertainties.
The Best in Test Product Awards honor important and innovative new products and services in the electronics test and measurement industry. Products from all areas of electronics testing and inspection are eligible. The Test Product of the Year Award is an overall winner of the Best in Test Product winners. The Test Engineer of the Year Award pays tribute to the important contributions test engineers make to the quality of electronics components, products and systems. The award winner receives a $10,000 educational grant, courtesy of sponsor National Instruments, which is presented to an engineering school designated by the winner.
Each year finalists are selected from among the nominees by EDN editors, after which EDN's audience are invited to vote for the winners using an online ballot. EDN then uses a combination of these audience votes and balloting by its editorial staff to determine the winners. The Best in Test Award winner that receives the most overall votes is named the Test Product of the Year.
