MALVERN, Pa. - May 25, 2016 - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that Vishay Components India Pvt. Ltd. has won an award from Varroc Group, a Vishay customer for over 10 years. Criteria for the award, in the Cost Improvement category, include competitive overall cost (total cost), savings proposal and value analysis/value engineering discussion, understanding of costs in relation to market realities, zero customer complaints and delivery issues, and losses and waste reduction. The award was presented by Mr. Tarang Jain (Managing Director) and Mr. Puneet Chandhok (Chief Supply Chain Officer) at the April 28 Varroc Group vendor meeting in Pune, India.
