Vishay Intertechnology Honored with 2015 TTI Supplier Excellence Awards for the Americas, Europe, and Asia
MALVERN, Pa. - May 23, 2016Â - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announced today that the company has received the 2015 TTI Supplier Excellence Awards for the Americas, Europe, and Asia. By receiving the 2015 TTI Supplier Excellence Award for the Americas, Vishay has remained a Platinum Level recipient and has earned recognition for the last 10 years. This is the fifth year in a row that Vishay has won the TTI Supplier Excellence Award for Europe and the sixth year in a row that Vishay has won the TTI Supplier Excellence Award for Asia.
The TTI Supplier Excellence Awards program centers on quality measurements that include on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer quality, administrative quality, sales support, and business systems. Winners are determined by performance points for these criteria.
The TTI Supplier Excellence Award for the Americas was presented to Vishay on May 11 during the 2016 Electronic Distribution Show and Conference (EDS) in Las Vegas. TTI's Melanie Pizzey, Vice President, Global Business Operations; Michael Knight, Senior Vice President, Americas; and Mike Morton, President, Global Sales and Marketing, presented the award to Steve Nye, Global Distribution Strategic Account Manager, Vishay. Also present for Vishay were David Valletta, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales; Joel Smejkal, Senior Vice President, Sales Distribution; Anne Taylor, Senior Vice President, Sales, the Americas; Oscar Gutierrez; Joel Aven; Scott Magennis; Jack Culloton; and Ron Clifford.
There were separate TTI Supplier Excellence Award ceremonies in Europe and Asia earlier this year.
