IWAS-3827EC-50 Wireless Charging Receiving Coil Listed in the Top 10
MALVERN, Pa. – Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that the company's IWAS-3827EC-50 wireless charging receiving coil, VCNL3020 proximity sensor, SMA6F transient voltage suppressors (TVS), P16S panel potentiometer, 193 PUR-SI Solar power aluminum capacitors, and VLMU3100 ultraviolet (UV) LED have been selected for Electronic Design's "Top 101 Components." #8 — IWAS-3827EC-50 Wireless Charging Receiving Coil
For the wireless charging of 5 V portable electronics, the powdered-iron-based, WPC-compliant (Wireless Power Consortium) IWAS-3827EC-50 offers a durable construction, high permeability shielding, and high efficiency greater than 70 %. With dimensions of 38 mm by 27 mm, the device is 33 % smaller than the standard 48 mm by 32 mm IWAS-4832FF-50 Rx coil.

#21 — VCNL3020 Proximity Sensor
The VCNL3020 is a fully integrated proximity sensor that combines an IR emitter, photo-pin-diode, signal processing IC, and 16-bit ADC in one small 4.85 mm x 2.35 mm x 0.83 mm surface-mount package. The space-saving device supports an easy-to-use I²C bus communication interface, and features an interrupt function and an integrated external emitter driver.

The 193 PUR-SI Solar series of snap-in power aluminum capacitors offers a rated voltage of 500 V at 50 °C and a category voltage of 450 V at +105°C. Targeted at solar applications, where the highest voltage is present under no load conditions, the devices also feature a long useful life and rated ripple current up to 2.52 A at +105 °C and 100 Hz.
