ViperStud Optimized to Meet the New SSMA Criteria or Non Structural Studs and IBC 2009
MENTOR, Ohio - MarinoWARE, CEMCO & Telling announced today that ViperStud® has been optimized for compliance to meet the new criteria of the SSMA Non Structural Code Compliance Program and the IBC 2009. ViperStud has completed the technical review process with the third-party review organization, Architectural Testing, Inc. (ATI), and is now entering the inspection phase of the certification program.
We are committed to keeping ViperStud at the forefront of code compliance and innovation. ViperStud meets the new SSMA requirements for minimum nominal bending moment, screw capacity, and screw penetration values. All new composite testing has been completed in accordance with the prescribed methods within the SSMA program, which has been adopted by the majority of the industry as standard.

Our revised catalog will be released in approximately one week. Full SSMA certification will be complete after scheduled inspections. We expect revised code evaluation reports to be issued soon reflecting these changes.
