Vibration-Free Platform Dampens Motion

Fullerton, CA – Terra Universal's compact and portable vibration-free platform reduces movement for microscopes, and motion-sensitive instruments and applications. The low-profile surface maintains a controlled position when supporting equipment up to 213 pounds. Pneumatic isolators, working with built-in pressure regulators, function as air springs to isolate 90% of building movement.

These isolators control motion both horizontally and vertically, in all directions. Removable weights may be added to adjust the surface load, creating optimal dampening for process equipment. Isolators not only control motion for sensitive applications on the platform surface, but also isolate agitating equipment from the bench top. These platforms may be more useful than vibration-free work stations as several can fit on the benchtop at one time, each set up to support different equipment needs.

Platform surfaces are 21.75" wide by 18.25" deep. Pressure may be adjusted and monitored using knobs and gauges built into the three-inch-high unit. The work surface is also cleanroom-compliant, made of ultra-clean stainless steel. Platforms come assembled and ready to use.

Terra Universal has 40 years of experience manufacturing critical-environment equipment for cleanrooms and laboratories. For more information about Vibration-Free Platform, visit Terra Universal's web site.
