Uway Extrusion Displaying 5,000 lbs/hr HDPE Extrusion System During Open House in Uway's Warren, OH Production Facility
Uway Extrusion recently began operations in a 50,000 square foot production facility in Warren, Ohio in September 2015. Their second project was to finish building and assembling a turn-key 5,000 lbs/hr HDPE sheet extrusion system that produced finished sheet with a width of up to 120 with sheet thickness varying between 0.080-0.450.Â
For those who attended NPE2015 in Orlando, FL last March you might recall seeing Uway Extrusion's massive 120 finished sheet width calendering roll stand that stood 9 feet tall and 6.25 feet in depth. Also on display in Uway's 50 foot by 50 foot island booth in the South Hall of the Orange County Convention Center were a 400-horsepower 4.5 co-extruder and a 40mm twin screw for integrating compounding to finished sheet.
The calendering roll stand and co-extruder on display at NPE are part of the first extrusion system built in Uway's new Warren, Ohio facility. To celebrate this event, Uway Extrusion will hold an ongoing factory open house from now through the end of February with the 5,000 lbs/hr HDPE extrusion system on display and operable on Uway's production floor. This system is also available for immediate sale.
Appointments to attend Uway's open house are strongly encouraged as Uway is structuring the event to allow individual companies ample time to inspect and (if desired) operate the extrusion system. Companies are welcomed and encouraged to ship their own PE material to Uway's production facility to run on Uway's machine during their own visit to Uway's factory.
