Unisource Names Mark Trainer Area Vice President in Its Packaging Business Unit


Will Lead Business Development Initiatives in Southern Region

NORCROSS, GA (December 04, 2007) - Unisource Worldwide, Inc., a leading independent marketer and distributor of commercial printing and business imaging papers, packaging systems, facility supplies and equipment, has named Mark Trainer, Area Vice President, Packaging - South. Since 2003, he has led sales efforts in Unisource's Columbus, Ohio, location as Business Manager.

"Mark provided strong leadership as Business Manager and achieved significant profitability goals," said Darin Tang, Unisource Senior Vice President, Sales - Packaging. "During his career with Unisource, he has been a prominent leader within our company and the industry. His expertise will help us develop our packaging business in the Southern region for increased sales."

Trainer will supervise six Packaging Business Managers, covering locations in Florida (Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville and Tallahassee); Georgia (Atlanta); North Carolina (Charlotte and Raleigh); South Carolina (Columbia); Tennessee (Memphis and Nashville); and Virginia (Richmond and Norfolk).

In 2001, Trainer joined Unisource as Marketing Manager - Midwest and was promoted to Business Manager. Previously, he held positions as Business Manager and National Accounts Manager at other companies during his 12-year career in the packaging industry.
