Unique Solutions at Converflex 2013 and at Bobst Italia Open House
At the forthcoming Converflex exhibition, which takes place in Milan 7 to 11 May 2013, BOBST will present on stand F19-G18 in hall 3 its comprehensive range of equipment and services developed to enable converters in the Folding Carton, Corrugated Board and Flexible Materials printing and converting industries to achieve maximum levels of efficiency and productivity.
Details of the latest innovations in sheet-fed equipment designed to increase productivity in customers' die-cutting, folding and gluing, and hot foil stamping processes will be presented. These include the new EXPERTCUT 106 PER die-cutter equipped with the latest productivity improving devices, the MASTERCUT 145 PER for larger formats and the EXPERTFOIL 142 world's first format VI hot foil stamper. Latest developments for in-line processing include systems such as the ACCUCHECK, the ACCUBRAILLE GT and the GYROBOX modules for folder gluers.
For web-fed equipment, BOBST will showcase the latest developments in gravure and flexo printing, laminating, special coating and vacuum metallizing. These range from the latest configurations of Rotomec gravure printing presses and the new FK 20SIX platform of flexo printing solutions, to the BOBST General Registron® Hawkeye pinhole detection system and the AlOx process breakthrough development for coating a wide range of plastic films, through to special coating machines for applications in the industry segments of labelstock and release lines, adhesive tapes and specialties.
A real treat for the international visitors to the exhibition will be the possibility to actually view gravure printing and laminating machines in operations at the Open House that will take place in Bobst Italia's Technology Center from 7 to 10 May. For the visitors' convenience, every day of the Open House a complimentary shuttle bus will link the exhibition grounds to BOBST production plant in San Giorgio Monferrato.
