Unger Expands Sales Force


Experienced operations manager Dave Vece joins Unger

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (June 13, 2006) - Unger Enterprises, Inc. today announced the addition of Dave Vece as Inside Sales Manager. Vece is responsible for all inside sales activities including management of the customer service and telesales departments.

Vece joins Unger with more than 15 years of sales and operations management experience gained from companies such as Vivatone Hearing Systems, USI Inc. and Scapa North America. Vece's appointment is part of Unger's broader sales force expansion strategy that has added a northeast sales manager to Unger's three existing sales territories -- southeast, central and west. Ray Noonan was promoted from Inside Sales Manager to the Northeast Regional Manager. Noonan has managed the development of the Unger inside sales and customer service efforts and will now manage the largest populated region of the country.

"Dave has background and experience in customer service and inside sales from a variety of industries that make him well equipped to help meet Unger's goals of continuing to deliver value added goods and services to the Jan-san industry as well as a number of other targeted channels," said Paul Offutt, Vice President of Sales, Unger Enterprises. "In addition, Ray's background in sales, management and his intimate knowledge of Unger products will be a great asset for the Unger organization."

Prior to joining Unger, Vece was a contract consultant for a Hartford, Conn.- based insurance company where he ensured the company upheld all industry compliance standards. Before his consulting position, Vece served as the National Customer Care Manager for Connecticut-based Vivatone Hearing Systems, a manufacturer of digital hearing aids. In this role he built the customer service department, including implementing procedures for shipping and returns. Prior to Vivatone, Vece was Customer Service Director for Scapa North America, a Connecticut-based adhesives manufacturer, where he consolidated five disparate customer service centers into one centralized unit. Vece also held customer service management positions with Garrity Industries, Inc. Osterman & Company, Inc. and Quantum, Inc.

Vece holds a bachelors degree in business management and is working toward a masters degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He has an associates degree in plastics specialization from Naugatuck Valley
Community Technical College.
