BANNOCKBURN, Ill., – Today, U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX-32) met with executives and employees of IPC-member company Suntronic, Inc. at the company's manufacturing facility in Richardson, Texas. Coordinated by IPC, the world’s leading association for electronics manufacturing companies, this visit is part of a nationwide effort to educate policymakers about legislative and regulatory issues that affect the electronics manufacturing industry.

“I would like to thank Suntronic and IPC for giving me the opportunity to visit their manufacturing facility today,” said Congressman Sessions. “As North Texas continues to grow and expand I am always delighted to see firsthand the immense contributions that companies in the 32nd Congressional District like Suntronic make to our economy.”

Established in 1995, Suntronic has been supplying Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) to the oilfield, communication, industrial and commercial markets. Suntronic’s Chief Operations Officer, David Ly, led the site visit, which included a tour of the manufacturing operations, as well as the opportunity to discuss with employees important issues affecting the future of the advanced manufacturing industry.

“On behalf of both Suntronic and IPC, I want to thank Congressman Sessions for taking the time to visit our plant today,” said David Ly. “It is encouraging to see our elected representatives’ interest in learning about our industry from people on the front lines. We are eager to keep working with him, and with IPC, to stimulate economic growth and innovation in Texas.”
