Tyco Electronics and Versatile Systems Inc. Extend Alliance to Include M/A-COM, Inc.
Harrisburg, PA October 25, 2006 - Tyco Electronics and Versatile Systems Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange symbol: VV), announced the expansion of the SyncSeer(TM) system capabilities by adding M/A-COM RFID components to the SyncSeer(TM) system. They SyncSeer(TM) system is an intelligent, technology infrastructure and information management system comprised of hardware and software for companies in the entertainment, retail, health care, government and education market places. Under the terms of the alliance, M/A-COM, Inc. will provide multi-protocol fixed and embedded UHF RFID readers and antennas.
Tyco Electronics' SyncSeer(TM) system, the result of a strategic alliance between Tyco Electronics and Versatile Systems Inc., is a modular software system that allows enterprises to derive more business value from new and existing TCP/IP based facilities and business systems.
