Two Rewarded for Taking the Ansell

RED BANK, N.J. (May 30, 2008) - Two industry professionals took the Ansell U Challenge, an interactive safety game, and beat out nearly 500 other players to win a Nintendo® Wii*. Kirk Baker, a Regional Health and Safety Manager for an environmental cleanup and hazard response company, and Elise Oras, Director of Marketing for Ladderport each won a gaming system.

"This is totally awesome! I've never won anything like this before," said Baker. "I just want to thank Ansell for this opportunity and for making great products I've used for years."

During February, industry professionals who registered and played the Ansell U Challenge online at www.ansellpro.com were eligible to win a Nintendo® Wii* gaming system. Baker was selected for earning the highest score during the contest, while Oras was randomly selected from the pool of participants. Contestants represented a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, chemical/petroleum, clean manufacturing, construction, and the municipal government sector.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to win the Wii," says Oras. "I know the guys in the office may be more excited that I won."

The Ansell U Challenge advances players through a metal stamping scenario where the user must select a glove and then see how many pieces of metal U can stamp without experiencing an injury. Each glove option is accompanied by cut protection levels and ratings indicating dexterity, abrasion and puncture resistance, and dry and oil grip. A new contest is underway at vantagegloves.com/aupr.

Ansell introduced the U Challenge during the National Safety Congress & Expo (NSC) in Chicago in October 2007, with hundreds trying their hand at achieving the top score and vying to win a Wii* gaming system.

The U Challenge was developed by Ansell in collaboration with MST Marketing Group and the game was recently awarded Best Manufacturing Interactive application in the Web Marketing Association's Interactive Advertising Competition (IAC). This is the second consecutive year that Ansell has won this category in the global competition. IAC entries are judged based upon creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting and use of medium.
