TURCK to Feature Cabling Solutions at Offshore Technology Conference

Minneapolis, MNÂ – TURCK announces it will be exhibiting its cabling products and solutions at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), May 6-9 in Houston, Texas. Attracting more than 80,000 attendees and 2,500 exhibitors, OTC is the world's foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection.

While hard-wiring and conduit are still common procedures today, TURCK will demonstrate its overmolded cabling solution that provides a more robust alternative to field-assembled configurations.
Rugged overmolded cordsets are 100 percent factory tested prior to installation, eliminating field assembly, soldering and wiring. With fast and easy application integration, these cordsets reduce downtime and minimize maintenance labor and costs. TURCK will also feature Ethernet cabling and other fieldbus wiring solutions.
In addition to cabling, TURCK will also introduce its unique Multiprotocol technology. Delivering a reliable solution across hardware platforms, Multiprotocol allows users to employ one device for three protocols—EtherNet/IP™, Modbus™ TCP/IP and PROFINET®—providing a comprehensive, easy-to-deploy industrial Ethernet solution.
