Tuffaloy Congratulates Recipient of Elihu Thomson Award
Tuffaloy Products Inc. a leading full line manufacturer of resistance welding electrodes and copper consumables congratulates William H. Brafford who is the latest recipient of the Elihu Thomson Award. This award is sponsored by the Resistance Welding Manufacturing Alliance and presented by the American Welding Society. It is presented annually to a person for outstanding contributions to the technology and application of resistance welding.
Mr. Brafford has been an AWS member for thirty two years and has served on AWS C1 and D8 Technical committees, and participated on Task Groups to publish several AWS specifications. He is a past President and served on the Board of Directors of the Resistance Welding Manufacturing Alliance (RWMA). He is an instructor at the Emmet A Craig resistance Welding School and was group leader in the development of the training video "Introduction to Resistance Welding". Through his many activities he has influenced many people in the resistance welding industry.
Bill is Vice President of Sales at Tuffaloy Products and visits customers when in the field to assist them in their welding applications.
