TricorBraun CCO Discusses Packaging Careers With Florida Students
St. Louis, - Craig Sawicki, TricorBraun's chief creative officer, recently spoke to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's students about a career in packaging. His presentation covered educational requirements, routine and unusual challenges faced by his staff, the shift toward sustainable packaging as well as an outlook for packaging well as for the men and women responsible for its design.
TricorBraun is one of North America's largest providers of jars, bottles and other rigid packaging components. The company's Design and Engineering Department has offices in Oak Brook, Ill., as well as engineering and mold manufacturing offices in Buffalo, N.Y. and Los Angeles. The firm has more than 40 locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Asia. Its primary focus is on packaging for personal care; cosmetics; healthcare; food and beverages; as well as industrial and household chemicals.
