TRIB Managing Director to be Featured Speaker at Louisiana Independent Tire Dealers Association Convention & Tradeshow
Pacific Grove, CA - The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB), a non-profit, member-supported industry association dedicated to the recycling of tires through retreading and repairing, announced that its Managing Director, David Stevens, will be a featured speaker at the "Trends & Treads" 2011 Annual Convention & Tradeshow of the Louisiana Independent Tire Dealers Association (LITDA) in New Orleans on February 24-26, 2011. Mr. Stevens said, "It's a great opportunity for me to use my background in marketing to discuss with LITDA members ideas for improving their marketing and branding efforts across both retail and wholesale locations. We'll look at some very specific strategies that have been successful within the tire industry that companies have used to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction."
Mr. Stevens joined the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau in November of 2010 as its Managing Director following an almost two-decade career leading marketing, sales and customer service efforts for Fortune 500 companies in the US and worldwide. Most recently, he served as the VP of International Marketing, Sales & Customer Service for E*TRADE based in London, where he was responsible for all of E*TRADE's branding and marketing activities outside the US. Prior to that, he held a variety of marketing roles with AOL in the US, Japan and the UK, as well as marketing roles in the credit card industry with FirstUSA and in the telecommunications industry with MCI Telecommunications.
