Transportation Leader England Logistics Appoints New VP of Finance and Business Development


Salt Lake City, Ut - England Logistics, a leading provider of third party logistics (3PL) services and the nation's 11th largest freight brokerage firm, announced today that Philip May has been named VP of Finance and Business Development, effective immediately. Mr. May will oversee areas including finance, administration and mergers and acquisitions.

In his prior position, Mr. May served as Vice President of Finance at Schneider Logistics. His role spanned operations throughout the US and China and addressed the accounting needs for the transloading, warehousing, port dray, international freight forwarding and customs brokerage divisions. In a previous role as Director of Acquisitions and Integration, Mr. May demonstrated the ability to advance key strategic initiatives while minding the intricacies of such complicated projects.

Mr. May holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He and his wife Brooke, daughter Charlotte (9), and son Jonathan (8) currently reside in Savannah, GA and will be relocating to Salt Lake City.
