Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A. Goes Racing


Irvine, Calif. (August 4, 2006) - Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) today announced it will be an associate sponsor of the number 11 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra driven by David Starr for the remainder of the 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

The number 11 truck will prominently display toyotaforklift.net on both side panels for all remaining races, as well as on its hood for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway race on September 23. The truck also will debut its new "Toyota Lift Truck Orange" paint scheme during the August 12, 2006 race at Nashville Superspeedway in Nashville, Tenn. "The Toyota brand has a rich motorsports history," said Shankar Basu, president and CEO of TMHU. "We are thrilled to add a new chapter by teaming with Red Horse Racing and David Starr for a winning season."

Red Horse Racing is one of four teams supported by Toyota Motorsports. Currently, Starr and Red Horse Racing rank in the top 10 in the season point standings. The team captured a victory this past April at the famed Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Va.
