Tnemec Company, Inc. Names Mark Thomas Vice President of Marketing

(KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 2, 2008) - Tnemec Company Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance protective coatings for industrial and specialized architectural markets, has named Mark Thomas as Vice President of Marketing, according to Chase Bean, executive vice president.
"Mark's contributions to Tnemec Company during the past 12 years are unmistakable," Bean acknowledged. "Along with a significant role in the development of Tnemec's StrataShield floor and wall coating systems, Mark has sculpted our company's contemporary market image and guided the implementation of our market strategies. In his new position, Thomas will continue to manage Tnemec Company's marketing department and remain actively engaged in Tnemec's future success. "Mark has extensive knowledge of protective coatings for steel, concrete and other substrates for new construction and maintenance," Bean added. "His expertise includes a wide range of coating technology issues, such as VOC regulations and new product technology."
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Thomas has a bachelor's degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Business and a master's degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Integrated Marketing. He has authored technical articles for leading trade publications including The Construction Specifier.
