TIA Announces "Making 'Green' Work" Forum At 2010 Global Tire Expo - Powered By TIA

Bowie, MD - The Tire Industry Association (TIA), one of the leading global authorities on tires, today announced the creation of "TIA EAC Forum: Making 'Green' Work," an environmental forum for those in the tire industry, at the 2010 Global Tire Expo - Powered by TIA. The Expo, which is a part of the 2010 SEMA Show, is taking place November 1-5, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV.

Created by TIA's Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), the forum will take place on Wednesday, November 3 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Room S231 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The forum will be moderated by Dick Gust, TIA EAC co-chair and president of Liberty/Lakin National Tire Recycling, and the panelists include:

Larry Brandt - TIA EAC co-chair and CEO, MSB Tires, LLC

Brett Matschke - president, Richlonn's Tire & Service Centers

Tim Bent - director of environmental affairs, Bridgestone Americas

Robert Moyer - director of tire center's North America, Costco Tire Centers

"We felt it was vitally important to continue the positive momentum we started with the recent TIA Environmental Symposium, and the creation of this forum is an excellent way for the thousands of Expo tire dealer attendees to learn how to make becoming eco-friendly an effective and financially viable endeavor. Forum attendees will have the opportunity to hear from four tire industry representatives with decades of experience: one from a large, national retailer, one from a tire manufacturer, and two independent tire dealers. In addition, there will also be a question and answer period, so attendees can have the opportunity to ask questions pertaining to their business," said EAC co-chair Dick Gust.

Interested Expo attendees can find out the latest session and speaker information, as well as SEMA Show registration, hotel reservation and TIA special event information by visiting the "Events" section of www.tireindustry.org.
