Thomas & Betts Strut Metal Channel Packaging System Provides Superior Protection, Mobility

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Thomas & Betts’ new Strut Packaging System, for metal channel products, provides superior protection and mobility for shipment and storage. The Strut Packaging System incorporates corrosion-resistant polypropylene footers and low-friction contact points with the floor.

“The footers ensure that the GoldGalv® and SilverGalv® zinc finishes on our Kindorf® and Superstrut® metal channel products remain unblemished in shipping and receiving,” said Chad Smith, vice president, product management at Thomas & Betts. “The low-friction contact points with the truck floor make moving the packages with hand trucks and fork lifts safe and easy.”

The Strut Packaging System also provides clearance for lift-truck fork tines. Other features include high-grade steel banding that prevents materials from shifting.
