ThermoFusion Says “NO†to Surcharges
Starting immediately, ThermoFusion, supplier of heat treating and brazing services, is eliminating all its surcharges to all its customers. "No more.", says Dave Buttner, ThermoFusion CEO. "We're not going to gouge our customers with hidden fees and surcharges like our competitors. Our customers deserve better.".
Surcharges and fees often show up as percentages, with names like "fuel surcharge", "energy fee", "hazardous material charge", "recycling fee", and other euphemisms for unquoted extra charges. ThermoFusion has not charged hidden fees and surcharges in the past few years, and Dave re-affirms that they won't for the foreseeable future.
"Check your invoice!", advises Nils Kjell, Director of Sales & Marketing. "Many heat treat and braze shops will quote one number, then add to the invoice the transportation, fuel, energy, recycling and other fees. We've heard of over 20% unquoted fees added to customer's invoices!".
