TriQuint has released the TGA2540-FL, a gallium nitride (GaN) PA offering an unequalled combination of power, efficiency and wideband coverage. The TGA2540-FL comes in a flange package and offers a minimum of 8 W (P1dB) and 40% PAE across the 30-3,000 MHz frequency range. It is ideally suited for defense communications applications such as JTRS and counter-IED EW systems. Classified as XI(c) under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the TGA2540-FL is available to US-based manufacturers; an export license is required for international shipments.
