Tennant Company Named Among 100 Best Corporate Citizens by Business Ethics Magazine


MINNEAPOLIS-June 12, 2006-Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC), one of the world's leading manufacturers of surface maintenance equipment, today announced that it has been named among the 100 best corporate citizens of 2006 by Business Ethics magazine. The list rates firms on their performance in eight stakeholder categories, including shareholders, community, governance, diversity, employees, environment, human rights, and product, and then ranks them according to those ratings. Tennant Company is 54th overall on the list, which also includes such companies as Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Intel, 3M, PepsiCo, and Citigroup.
