Telamon Receives 2 Mega Deal Awards

Telamon recently received 2 Mega Deal Awards from the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council. A Mega Deal is defined as any deal in the amount of $25MM or more for business performed or completed in 2011 between a certified D/FW MSDC minority-owned business (or a reciprocal) and a buying entity partner. The awards showcase business performance and encourage business growth between certified MBE's & buying entity partners.

The first Mega Deal recognizes Telamon's support of the AT&T OTV program (operating territory vendor). The OTV program consists of a competitively selected set of vendors assigned to defined operating territories across the continental U.S., all using pre-established EF&I pricing and adhering to consistent AT&T Technical Practices and other requirements. The scope of the OTV program includes engineering, installation, test and turn-up, and project management services for network transport.

The second Mega Deal acknowledges Telamon's relationship with Cisco. Telamon has designed innovative solutions, successfully penetrated new areas of business, and increased revenues dramatically for Cisco. This has enabled Cisco's broadband customers to build/rebuild their regional transport networks (RTN) for material distribution services, preconfigured equipment services, and program & project management.

"Telamon is honored to receive recognition from the Dallas/Forth Worth Minority Supplier Development Council. Our goal is to simplify our customers' business and our relationships with AT&T and Cisco exemplify just that. The Mega Deal Awards showcase Telamon's ability to embrace contracts of any size and we look forward to establishing additional relationships with buying entity partners" said Kate Alberts, Vice President of Sales at Telamon.
