Technetics Group Named Marketer of the Year in Manufacturing by AMA Houston


Technetics Group has been named the winner of the Marketer of the Year award in the manufacturing category by the American Marketing Association (AMA) Houston Chapter. Technetics Group, along with winners in 25 other categories from over 120 nominated companies and organizations, will meet on March 3rd at the Alley Theater in Houston, TX to be honored for their accomplishments. This event recognizes extraordinary marketing efforts by Houston-area companies and attracts top marketing professionals from the area’s most well-known organizations.



Technetics Group is being recognized for the prestigious award thanks to the company’s 2013 branding achievements. “We had a challenging, yet successful year in 2013 in regards to our branding and overall marketing efforts, so it is quite an honor to be recognized by the AMA in this category. We have made tremendous progress in uniting once separate companies under the global brand that is Technetics Group and continuing to develop strategic marketing techniques to promote the brand in the marketplace,” says Amy Davis, Director of Marketing for Technetics Group. The company was tasked in building a comprehensive and highly visible brand by combining seven already established component design and manufacturing brands. The ultimate goal was to be recognized as thought leaders in strategic markets, build brand awareness and connect the new Technetics Group brand with key influencers, decision-makers and end users in critical market segments. With a clear goal in place came strategic implementation of key marketing tactics, which ultimately help solidify the Technetics Group brand in 2013.



Key efforts included developing creative executions of branded digital and print media that center on real life situations and real life solutions. From safeguarding the operation of nuclear power plants, ensuring the safe take-off and landing of thousands of commercial and military air flights every day and drilling for oil in the world’s most environmentally sensitive areas, Technetics Group provides ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS FOR DEMANDING EVIRONMENTS®. Other highlights of 2013 branding efforts included frequent email campaigns to increase digital touch points, participation in strategic global trade shows, continuous development of an award winning company website, and the development of award winning content and print materials that elevate the brand utilizing thought leadership content and sophisticated design and print production.



Effective marketing solutions coupled with a solid market segmentation strategy produced sound results as the company came to the 2013 year end. In the first six months of 2013, Technetics Group increased unique website visitors by 29.74%, for a 41% increase overall. A commitment to online marketing strategies increased website search traffic alone by 61.70% also in the first six months. Technetics Group also realized significant increases in coverage by industry trade publications, email campaign engagement and leads generated in global trade shows, all proving Technetics Group is continuously extending its brand awareness on a global scale in target markets through efficient and effective marketing efforts.
