Symposium to address multi-component geosynthetic clay liners.

April 10, 2012 - Third Symposium on Current and Future Practices for the Testing of Multi-Component Geosynthetic Clay Liners will be held June 27. Major motivator for symposium is the advent of multi-component GCLs, which can be defined as GCLs with attached film, coating, or membrane that decreases hydraulic conductivity, protects clay core, or both. Topics will include mechanical testing, peel and shear behavior, hydraulic testing, durability of multi-component, field performance, and research studies.
