Symmetry Surgical Enhances Immediate-Use Sterilization Portfolio with Launch of FlashPak® Evolution Valve

Designed for Ease of Use, New Valve Reduces Maintenance Requirements
WARSAW, Ind. -- Symmetry Medical Inc. (SMA), a leading global source of innovative medical device solutions, including surgical instruments, orthopedic implants, and sterilization cases and trays, announced today that its subsidiary, Symmetry Surgical, is launching its FlashPak(R) Evolution valve at the 60th Congress of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) in San Diego.
The Evolution valve is the latest enhancement to Symmetry's market-leading immediate-use (flash) sterilization product, FlashPak. Distributed through Symmetry Surgical, the new valve's patent-pending stainless steel construction is designed for ease of use and simplicity of care, with no daily venting required and a seal with three times the closing force of legacy valves.

Symmetry Surgical will provide hands-on demonstrations of the FlashPak Evolution valve at the AORN meeting in the Company's Booth #3217.
