Swagelok Company Appoints Vice President, Chief Information Officer
SOLON, Ohio (October 24, 2007) The appointment of Matt LoPiccolo to vice president, chief information officer (CIO) was announced by Arthur F. Anton, president and chief executive officer of Swagelok Company. In this role, LoPiccolo is responsible for all facets of Swagelok's information systems and information technology planning. LoPiccolo joined Swagelok Company in 1985 and has held positions in information services, distribution and logistics, customer service, and supply chain management. Most recently, he served as director, customer solutions with responsibilities for outbound supply chain strategies. LoPiccolo holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from John Carroll University and an M.B.A. from Baldwin Wallace College. He also holds Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute and is a recipient of the Kerzner Award for Project Management Excellence.
