Supply Chain Services Achieves Fourth Consecutive Year of Double Digit Growth

Supply Chain Services, a leading supplier of barcoding and data capture solutions for the distribution and warehousing markets today reported its 2013 sales results. The 24% top line growth to $21.6 million, commensurate gross margin growth and solid cash position primarily reflects the continued investment in people and new offerings such as a barcode label media business.

In 2013 Supply Chain Services expanded staff across the business. New hires came in sales, technical (IT) customer-facing support staff and administration. In particular a broadened IT capability has proved a differentiator for the company. Additionally, continued training and education across all functions improved the ability to help customers define and solve their business challenges.

“We continue to serve the North American warehouse and distribution markets,” said Chip Emery, Owner and CEO. “We decided to not stray into other markets, but rather to stay focused on what we do best: Helping customers operate better.“
