Success Cubed - Huhtamaki Films has Presented Three New Films at INDEX14
Cloth+, Discreet+, Straight+: Huhtamaki Films' trade fair team has achieved triple success at INDEX14, the world's leading nonwovens exhibition in Geneva. Customers, experts and journalists alike praised not only the film specialist's overall presence, but above all the three new products on show.
"We are very satisfied with how INDEX14 went. The feedback we received from customers was unanimously positive", sums up Dr. Ingrid Sebald, Global Director of Research Development at Huhtamaki Films. The international exhibition crew consisting of 18 people, under the leadership of the Global Hygiene Team, was thus able to accrue over one hundred new contacts, more than 30 of them from Asia and Americas. Sebald: "We are always happy about an international audience. We are especially proud of visits from leading manufacturers in the field of hygiene."
Controlled, soft and quiet
Soft Cloth+, quiet Discreet+ and ripper Straight+: Sebald presented the new trio in total three times at the Huhtamaki Films' booth. They show the development potential and the innovative ability of the company, taking both customer and market requirements into account. Cloth+ is all about the soft feel, Discreet+ is about safety and discretion while opening the packaging, and Straight+ is about being able to open a film in a controlled manner both crosswise and lengthwise. "Simple, light, and yet reliable like a Huhtamaki film: The convenience trend in the packaging industry is continuing. We have not only recognized this, we are implementing these trends within the context of our Collaborate & Innovate initiative", reports the Head of Research & Development. The team also received a great deal of praise from Peter Wahsner, Executive Vice President of Huhtamaki Films: "Our international team worked extremely well together."
12,500 visitors attended INDEX14 in Geneva to find out about the newest developments of the nonwovens industry. According to the organizers, this figure amounted to an increase of ten per cent compared to the last trade fair. Around 590 exhibitors from more than 40 countries presented their products on 22,000 square meters of stand space. Sebald: "We are already looking forward to the next INDEX in April 2017, and are excited by the prospect of seeing which new films we will be producing together with our customers by then."
