Steve Evers Now Director of Business Development at Macron Dynamics

Croydon, PA -- Macron Dynamics, a manufacturer of linear actuators, linear motion components, and custom mechanical motion systems, today announced that employee Steve Evers will be promoted to Director of Business Development and Chief Customer Advocate effective immediately.

Evers is filling the position previously occupied by Joe Baird. Baird retired in December 2010 after almost 20 years of dedicated, enthusiastic employment at Macron Dynamics. Baird played a key role in developing and sustaining strong relationships with Macron's distributors, keeping them informed about the company and Macron's products.

Replacing Baird as Director of Business Development, Steve Evers has a 20 year track record of solution-based sales experience. In the position, Steve will serve as Macron's guide for all distributors and manufacturers representatives engaged in selling Macron Dynamics products.

Evers attended Ohio Institute of Technology and Devry Institute of Technology, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He is an expert in industrial lighting using LED technology, and is an active member of the Robotics Industry Association (RIA), the Motion Control Association (MCA), the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (LRIG), and represents Macron at the Association for High Technology Distribution (AHTD) and the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) at national events.

"We at Macron Dynamics wish Joe Baird all the best in his retirement and thank him for his contributions to Macron. In filling this vacancy, we are pleased to promote Steve Evers. I believe Steve's impeccable sales and advocacy history makes him a great fit for the position, and I am sure we will all appreciate his efforts as we continue to expand in both domestic and international markets," says Anthony Cirone, president of Macron.

Evers will be instrumental in Macron's growth in global markets in Australia, New Zealand, and India. As Director of Business Development and Chief Customer Advocate, Evers will play a large and continued role in Macron's expectations for continued, aggressive growth. Cirone believes the company will break the ten million dollar mark in sales by 2013.
